A long-time voice of the Cornhusker Marching Band, Michael H. Veak, 74, Lincoln, passed away June 15, 2017. He held life-time memberships in the UNL Alumni Association and a charter member of the Band Alumni Association. For 30 seasons, His last season as the voice of the Pride of All Nebraska was 2002. Band Alumni Association Charter Member, Rob Clements, fills Legislative Seat

Elmwood banker Rob Clements is the governor’s pick to fill the southeast Nebraska legislative seat left open with the resignation of Bill Kintner of Papillion. In choosing Clements, Gov.
