Twirling fulfills dreams, upholds tradition for Husker baton twirlers

Here is a great article that appeared in the Daily Nebraskan.

As the 90,000 fans of Memorial Stadium look on, Morgan Miller hurls a baton 100 feet in the air. If it isn’t thrown with the right amount of revolutions, the wind could take it. 10 Willson Mellophones on eBay

Hello Beloved Alumni!

I’ve promised to let the alumni know when UNL instruments are for sale on eBay and I’m hoping you’ll spread the word to everyone. 10 Willson mellophones  (affectionately known as “frumpets”) have been removed from inventory and will be posted on eBay shortly. The campus organization handling the sale is UNL Surplus Solutions (unlsurplussolutions@unl.edu). All inquiries should be directed to Surplus Solutions as they will be happy to supply the link to the instruments as well as answer prospective buyers questions.

Thanks to Chuck and his peeps, the mellophones have been refurbished and should fetch a pretty penny!

Thank you for all you do, and have a lovely weekend!
