UNL Flag Line Instructor, 1987-1995 Kathryn (Katy) Coleman, a beloved band staff alum, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024. Katy was renowned for her imaginative quilting designs, where her use of color and creativity shone brightly. This past weekend the 2023 Band Awards Reception was held at Memorial Stadium. As a part of the event, the Russ Swanson Outstanding Band Person was awarded to Steffani Nolda.
