Roy Edward Cook, 76, formerly of Lincoln, passed away on February 15, 2016, in Hartford, Conn. Born April 24, 1939, in Center, to the late Joseph and Dena (Helmhout) Cook. He was raised in Lincoln and graduated from Lincoln High in 1957 and the University of Nebraska in 1962. At UNL he majored in architecture and marched in the Cornhusker Marching Band.
