The Jack R. Snider Band Alumni Association Fund
Every contribution helps ensure that Nebraska Bands students are supported, celebrated, and equipped to succeed.
This fund is the heart of the Band Alumni Association’s direct support for Nebraska Bands.
Gifts to the Jack R. Snider Fund are used to enhance the everyday and extraordinary experiences of band members. Guided by the Band Alumni Association, this fund helps make possible:
- Contributions to the annual band banquet
- Support for the TGIO (Thank Goodness It’s Over) event
- Assistance with band camp activities
- Hosting the Highlights Concert reception
- Student scholarships
- Essential tools such as drill-writing software for band directors
- And many other needs that arise throughout the year
The Donald A. Lentz Fund
The Donald A. Lentz Fund helps keep the spirit of musical excellence and innovation alive within Nebraska Bands.
This fund is dedicated to enriching the artistic and educational experience of band students by supporting:
- Commissioning new works for Nebraska Bands
- Bringing guest artists to perform with and inspire students
- Enhancing educational opportunities within the Glenn Korff School of Music
Through this fund, students experience music that challenges, inspires, and connects them to a broader artistic community.
